Man Dies in Holmdel Motorcycle Crash Tuesday Night

Holmdel, NJ - A young man did die in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night in Holmdel, Holmdel police confirmed to Patch. But as of Friday afternoon, the exact details of the crash have still not been released yet by the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.

Holmdel police said they could not release any more information, as the crash investigation has been taken over by the county prosecutor's office.

The crash occurred on Laurel Avenue, near the Laurel Avenue railroad bridge, Tuesday night. At the time, that section of Laurel Avenue was closed to all through traffic, as part of a multi-week closure for NJ Transit maintenance repairs on the bridge.
