Man Tried to Sell Crack Cocaine Near Keyport High School, Police Say
In an unrelated case, a Belford man was found with crack cocaine as well.

Keyport, NJ - The heroin and drug epidemic happening right in their backyards is nothing new to Monmouth County residents.
But on Tuesday, a man tried to sell an especially large amount of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of Keyport High School, prosecutors said.
Roque Darnell, 38, was arrested Tuesday after he was found with a large amount of a "white, chunk-like" substance, believed to be crack cocaine, Keyport police said. He was also found with regular cocaine and a brown, chunk-like substance of suspected heroin on him, police said.

Darnell lives on Main Street in Keyport.
In an unrelated case, a Belford man was arrested Wednesday after he was found with crack cocaine as well, police said. William Rongo, 52, of Hopping Road in Belford, was found with three small plastic bags of the suspected drug, police said.
