Monmouth County Certifies Red Bank Election Night Results
Borough council members Zipprich and Ballard held their seats while local Board of Education results also became official.
RED BANK, NJ - The Monmouth County Board of Elections has certified ballot counts this week, making the results from Election Night in Red Bank official.
The Monmouth County Board of Elections has completed the counting of the mail-in and provisional ballots, and the County Clerk's Election Office has certified the General Election results to the Secretary of State,” the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office announced Wednesday.
“384,251 ballots were cast in Monmouth County resulting in a record-breaking 82.4% voter turnout for the 2020 General Election.”

Borough council members Edward Zipprich and Michael Ballard held onto their seats, running unopposed for the two spots.
In the race for the Red Bank Regional High School Board of Education, newcomer Albanese beat out incumbent board president John Garofalo:

ALBANESE: 65.63 percent, 2,393 votes
GAROFALO: 34.28 percent, 1,250 votes
Current board member Eugene J. Koster, Jr.lost his spot on the Red Bank Regional Board of Education representing Little Silver to newcomer John Venino.
JOHN VENINO: 54.93 percent, 1,587 votes
EUGENE J. KOSTER, JR: 45 percent, 1,300 votes
"I am seeking a seat so that Little Silver has a true advocate on the board of education," Venino told Patch earlier this year.
"My knowledge of remote learning will be firsthand. My knowledge of education will be firsthand. I will not rely solely on information disseminated to me from the superintendent. I will be an independent voice for Little Silver, which will benefit all students."
Three seats are also open on the Red Bank Borough Board of Education, with Jennifer Herold Garcia and Laura P. Camargo securing the spots. A third candidate, write-in Ellen P. McArthur, is slated to be the third seat winner.
