New Lawyer For Alleged Pooping Superintendent

Holmdel police also told Patch baby wipes were found on the high school track, along with human feces.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The superintendent accused of pooping on the Holmdel High School track and football field has a new lawyer, who announced Friday that many of the "falsehoods" that have been reported about his client will be cleared up in court.

Also, what was behind that littering charge filed against Kenilworth schools superintendent Thomas Tramaglini? Holmdel police told Patch baby wipes were found on the track along with human feces.

Tramaglini, who has been placed on paid leave following his April 30 arrest, is now represented by Matthew S. Adams, a partner in the ritzy Morristown law firm Fox Rothchild. Tramaglini lives in Matawan and he previously retained a local attorney. But he recently made the switch to Adams, a white-collar crimes defense attorney.

When asked by Patch, Adams did not elaborate on what some of those falsehoods against his client are.

"My client looks forward to his day in court when he can rebut some of the falsehoods that have been portrayed about him in the media," Adams told NJ.com on Thursday of this week.

Also, Holmdel police confirmed to Patch that paper was found at the scene of the alleged crime, where Tramaglini is accused of leaving human feces on the track and field "on a daily basis."

"I can confirm there was paper there he used to clean up after," said Holmdel Lt. Michael Pigott.

Tramaglini was charged with littering, lewdness and defecating in public.

Patch was told by another source in the department that specifically it was baby wipes found on the track.

New attorney Adams did not comment when asked by Patch about that, either.

Tramaglini is due in Holmdel municipal court at 10 a.m. on May 30 to answer to the charges. He has been seen in gym shorts and sneakers by reporters staked out at his Matawan home, but so far has declined to comment on his arrest.
