NJ Transit Begins Laurel Ave. Repairs Due To Bridge Crashes
The repairs will require lane closures along Laurel Avenue for approximately 8 weeks, officials said.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Police Department announced that repair work on the Laurel Avenue bridge will begin on or around March 28.
NJ Transit will make extensive bridge repairs on the North Jersey Coast Line Bridge over Laurel Avenue in the towns of Holmdel and Middletown, police said.
Beginning on or about March 28, Laurel Avenue will be subject to alternating traffic lane closures.

“Due to anticipated congestion, through traffic should utilize alternate routes,” police said on social media.
Laurel Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning on or about April 11. Detours will be clearly marked for both northbound and southbound traffic, police said.
