OPINION....PARTISAN POLITICS
It is that time of year when partisan politics tends to confuse the voters.
My suggestion to all voters whether it be local, county, state or federal candidates is to consider promises made and if they actually can be believed to follow through for you and not joined at the hip first and foremost with their partisan brotherhood.

Running off partisan lines are Cathy Weber and Prakash Santhana
Both have been in the forefront of fighting for Holmdel residents first and foremost above that of partisan and special interest agendas.
Both stood firm, visibly in opposition to the one way / one sided Mayoral partisan controlled Township Committee's actions :
* closing southern Holmdel's fire house,
* rezoning southern Holmdel for a private for profit sports facility,
* more rezoning to create intensified commercial zoning for rte 34 and Holmdel Road areas
* special insider interests' capitalizing on more rezoning for state mandated affordable housing areas,
* selling off Township taxpayer paid for open space Cross Farm to private interests,
* the alleged misappropriation of tax dollars to pay for professional services
The aforementioned are mentioned as only a few questionable one way partisan Committee government actions guided by the current incumbent Mayor
Holmdel does not need anymore elected officials voting and passing resolutions in their own best interests.
Holmdel does need Independents Weber and Santhana to represent us in the public's best interest first, foremost and above that of partisan special interests.
As the last hope for Holmdel, please vote column 3 on the November 5th ballot.
