HOLMDEL, NJ — A patient stole from Bayshore Medical Center last week, police say, helping himself to hypodermic needles from the ER supply room after he came in to seek treatment. He was later found with the needles and heroin on him outside the hospital, police said.
The 33-year-old Old Bridge man went to Bayshore last Tuesday, seeking medical treatment. Sometime before he was discharged, he stole multiple needs from the ER, police said.
Bogdan Tikhonov, 33, was stopped by police outside the hospital, where they found the needles on him as well as a tannish powdery suspect in a plastic bottle cap, according to the criminal complaint. The substance was suspected to be heroin.
