Police Raid Union Beach 'Heroin House,' Find Child Present
Union Beach police raided a home on Park Avenue on May 19, and found heroin and crack cocaine, as well as a child, they said.

UNION BEACH, NJ — Five people were arrested in Union Beach earlier this month after police said they were dealing heroin and crack cocaine out of a home there, and with a child present.
On Friday, May 19, Union Beach police and members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Bayshore Narcotics Task Force raided a home on Park Avenue, after obtaining a search warrant. Numerous illegal drugs were found inside the home, police said, including but not limited to approximately 70 bags of heroin and several grams of crack cocaine. There was also drug paraphernalia consistent with narcotics distribution, police said.
The investigation revealed a child under the age of 10 was living in the residence. Five people in total were arrested and they are Edward Lemkul IV, Kathyrn Maccutcheon, Mindy Lemkul, Casey Jacobus and Patrick Downey. All five were charged with drug offenses and endangering the welfare of a child.
