Roger Federer Wins 8th Wimbledon Title

Breaking: Federer beat Croatia's Marin Cilic, who had an injured left foot and started crying midway through the match.

Roger Federer claimed his eighth Wimbledon title on Sunday. The 35-year-old Swiss tennis star beat Croatia's Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 in a match at Wimbledon in England.

It was an emotional match: Cilic had an injury to his left foot, the Daily Telegraph reports, which had straps around it. He slipped and fell in the fifth match. During the second set, Cilic called a trainer and a doctor over and reportedly started crying on the court, either in pain or frustration.

He played on, and the match lasted almost two hours, but eventually lost to Federer.
