Several Home Break-Ins Reported In Hazlet

HAZLET, NJ — Hazlet police reported Tuesday night that there have been several home burglaries occur during the last few nights in the area near Holmdel Road.

In two of these incidents, the victims' cars were taken and found a short distance away. Holmdel police, meanwhile, report that 11 cars have been stolen out of driveways this year. All the cars in those instances were left unlocked with the key fobs inside.

Police ask that residents lock their cars, house doors and windows.
