Coupons To Use Around Holmdel: What's In the Papers & Mags Dec. 9

I love the daily newspapers for lots of reasons. But at this time of year, the first-grader in me can't resist cutting it up on the dotted lines.

I snip coupons from the paper and stuff them in my pocketbook, in some optimistic expectation I will remember to use them. Here's what jumped out at me today and this week, published in local print media serving Holmdel Township.

(I would be doing a disservice to you if I failed to mention the  Dearborn Market,  coupon, right here on Holmdel Patch. It offers $5 off any food or garden center purchase of $30 or more. Look for it at the top of the inside news pages.)

SteinMart, at Union Avenue and Route 35 in Holmdel: Clothing and gifts on the fancier side. $10 of purchase of $25 coupons, valid for Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. The first 100 customers on that day receive a free gift card valued at $5 to $1,000. Also on Friday and Saturday, use the newspaper coupons to get 25% of Clearance Shoes and 30% of All Red Clearance. Wine Academy, at Bethany Road and Route 35, Hazlet: Wine sampling machines! Worth checking out. 15% off Wine with Coupon. Expires Jan. 31, 2012. Find it on Page 14 of the December edition of the Holmdel Journal.

Funtime America, off Route 35 South, on County Road, Cliffwood: Kids totally love this place. Coupons for $5 in free game tokens when you buy $5 worth, $19.99 fun pack including food, rides and tokens, and $50 off a birthday party. Yesterday's Restaurant, near Hazlet Avenue and Route 35 N in Hazlet. Really, where else can you find an all-you-can-eat mussel bar? Two coupons. $5.00 off any check over $30. Hobbymasters, 62 White Street  Red Bank : I'm including this because I'm always the sad one in line without this little ticket. The signature "Write your own coupon" gives you 15% of your selection. Plus, the coupon offers $40 in doll furniture with purchase of a pre-built dollhouse; $20 off Breyer toys with purchase of Breyer Stable; and free batteries with purchase of any science kit.
