State Aid For Holmdel Schools Increases For 2020-21: Report

This upcoming year, Holmdel public schools will receive over $2.7 million from the state, up 5.6 percent from last year.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy released his revised state aid figures last week, leaving Holmdel public schools with about $144,800 more than they did last year.

For the upcoming 2020-21 school year, Holmdel public schools will receive over $2.72 million from the state, up 5.6 percent from the roughly $2.58 million it received last year.

This year's grand total will include $721,124 in transportation aid, $139,118 in security aid and $1.86 million in special education aid.

The first day for Holmdel Township Schools is Sept. 14, and the district is still on track to do its hybrid plan, with half the students in school on alternating days of the week.
