‘Tax and Spend’ is not for Holmdel
Why I am endorsing Rahul Diddi for the Holmdel Township Committee

I am calling on Independents, Democrats and Republican residents of Holmdel to consider voting for Rahul Diddi this election. Rahul is a fiscal conservative who would help steer the town to continue the path of fiscal prudence.
His opponent, the county sponsored candidate, may claim affiliation to a party stripe that had traditionally espoused fiscal responsibility, but he and his coterie have proven that they couldn’t be farther from this claim.
In the last six months, we have seen them present a plethora of spending programs focused on the PILOT revenue largesse with no discussion on our debt, and spending focused on their vested interests.

Their track record is abundantly clear. They are either ignorant or apathetic to how serious the situation is. They have saddled Holmdel with a huge debt - a debt that is so large that basically ties our hands to not be able to do much more, including projects for our children, without warranting a potential tax increase in the future!
Any candidate or a member of the TC, who believes in spending simply based on the topline revenue with an abject disregard for our debt and other costs is akin to a ‘tax and spend’ politician that we universally dislike.

As an Independent myself, I have had the luxury of supporting candidates - Republicans, Independents and Democrats alike, who have a strong moral character and have a predilection for fiscal conservatism.
You as residents of Holmdel, need township committee members who are honest, transparent and are careful with your hard-earned tax dollars.
I can vouch that Rahul is such a candidate. Vote for Rahul Diddi for Holmdel Township Committee this election, no matter your state or federal political affiliation.
