Tire Iron Attack in Hazlet, Police Say
A Marlboro Township man hit two other men in the head with a tire iron while in the course of robbing them, police said.

Marlboro Township, NJ - A Marlboro Township man hit two other men in the head with a tire iron while in the course of robbing them, according to a criminal complaint from the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.
The incident happened at 2:53 a.m. June 6 in Hazlet, police said, in a hotel room inside the Shore Point Inn. Dominick Tardo, 24, allegedly struck his two victims in the head and the ear with a tire iron in the course of a theft. Both men were cut in the face by the tire iron, police said.
Tardo was arrested July 11 and charged with aggravated assault and theft, among other charges. No other information on the attack was available from Hazlet police at this time.
