Tree Truck Overturns At Holmdel Township Hall

HOLMDEL, NJ — A tree service truck overturned on the front lawn of Holmdel Town Hall Thursday afternoon, police said. It spilled a large amount of debris onto the roadway, which had to be removed.

The accident happened at 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Holmdel and Crawfords Corner Road. The tree service vehicle lost control and overturned. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Holmdel Road and misjudged the curve in the road, police said.

The truck was occupied by a driver and passenger; both were taken to Jersey Medical Center by Holmdel First Aid. The injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Holmdel Police responded, along with Holmdel Fire and First Aid, Holmdel DPW and MONOC.
