Trump vs. Clinton Voting Numbers in Holmdel, Middletown, Hazlet and Rumson
Here's how your town voted, from the county clerk's 2016 presidential election voting records.

After covering Saturday's pro-Trump rally along Rt. 35 in Middletown, Patch was curious just how many Trump supporters there are in this stretch of northern Monmouth County. We asked the county clerk's office for the 2016 presidential election voting records, and learned that the Trump/Pence ticket won in several major towns/townships in the region:
Holmdel: Trump won Holmdel, getting 4,919 votes compared to 3,577 for Clinton/Kaine. There are 12,902 registered voters in Holmdel Twp., and about 9,000 of them voted on Nov. 8.
Hazlet: Surprisingly, Trump won Hazlet, too, which is represented by Democratic Congressman Frank Pallone. Trump did very well in Hazlet, getting 6,252 votes compared to 3,566 for Clinton/Kaine. There are about 14,000 registered voters in Hazlet and about 10,000 voted. Gary Johnson received 229 votes.
