Who's Running For Holmdel Township Committee This Year

HOLMDEL, NJ — Two seats are up for election on the Holmdel Township Committee in 2022 and four candidates have announced their intention to run for the open seats on the township council.

Republicans Brian Foster and Kimberley LaMountain are up against Democrats Barbara Singer and Rahul Diddi.

The filing deadline to run was 4 p.m. on Monday. Again, from the Holmdel Township Clerk, here is who filed to run:

  • Republican candidates: Brian Foster and Kimberley LaMountain
  • Democrat candidates: Barbara Singer and Rahul Diddi

Foster previously served on the Holmdel Board of Education.

Diddi ran for an open seat on the township council in 2021 against Republican Rocco Impreveduto. Singer also previously ran for a seat on the township council in 2017.

In New Jersey, the primary election for 2022 will be held on Tuesday, June 7. The winners will receive their party's nomination for the general election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 8, and will include independent candidates.

Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.
