
SPARTA, NJ — One Sparta lottery player woke up richer this morning following Wednesday night's massive Powerball drawing.
No, one of your neighbors didn't win the jackpot, but a $50,000 tickets was sold in Sparta, at 7-Eleven #11472 (33 Pine Cone Ln).
To win the $50,000 prize, players had to match four white balls and the red power ball. The winning numbers in Wednesday night's drawing were 06, 07, 16, 23 and 26; the power ball was 04.

Two other NJ players got a little luckier, winning $1 million each. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Cumberland County: L and K Petroleum, 3890 Route 47, Dorchester, and
- Passaic County: W & R Mini Market and Deli, 94 Nagle St., Paterson.
The winning jackpot was sold in Massachusetts, and was the second highest in lottery history.
