$76K Jackpot Lottery Ticket Sold In Sparta

SPARTA, NJ — Sparta lottery players, check your tickets-- you might be a big winner.

One of two jackpot Jersey Cash 5 tickets in the state was sold at Stop and Shop (5 Town Center Drive) in Sparta. It matched all five wining numbers: 04, 10, 27, 35 and 40.

The total jackpot was $152,432. The Sparta winner and another winner in Hoboken will each take home $76,216.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Prime Stop Inc. and Stop & Shop #823. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners," Executive Director Carole Hedinger said.
