Sparta Historical Society’s program theme for all of 2026 is celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary. We now welcome Kim Hanley portraying Abigail Adams and Steve Edenbo, portraying Thomas Jefferson, both from American Historical Theatre in Philadelphia. Thomas Jefferson and Abigail Adams will engage in a spirited discussion of their often-conflicting views on the events that surrounded the struggle for American Independence and the establishment of the United States under the Constitution.
