Child Porn Investigation Leads To Arrest Of North Jersey Man

The 33-year-old's arrest was prompted by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — A Sussex County man has been arrested following his involvement in a child pornography investigation, according to police.

Justin C. Iacona, 33, of Newton, faces charges related to possession of child sexual abuse materials.

An investigation into Iacona began after Newton Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators found that Iacona was connected to several cloud-based accounts containing the abuse material, police said.

On March 6, Iacona voluntarily went to the Newton police to be interviewed and was arrested shortly afterwards without incident, according to authorities.

He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was later released to await court proceedings.
