Crunch Time: NJ Woman Seeks Sewers To Craft Hospital Masks

SPARTA, NJ - JoAnn Gregoli, a career social event planner, has been making masks to help combat the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, and is looking for skilled sewers to assist in the final push.

"In an effort to help hospitals keep up with supply chain of masks, we are in need of
seamstresses and people who can sew," Gregoli told Patch, noting that they were in "crunch time" in producing the masks.

Gregori said that the need for assistance has grown.

"The hospitals across Northern New Jersey are begging us for more, but we need more sewers," she said.

Gregoli said the plan is to set up drop points to help minimize social contact. Those interested can visit the website for details on how to get involved.

"It takes a village to make a difference, lets make that difference," she said.
