HOPATCONG, NJ — The Christmas season is almost here, and for some, that means picking out the perfect Christmas tree. While you could head to the store for a plastic one, or pick out a pre-cut one, you can find local, cut-your-own Christmas tree farms right near Hopatcong and Sparta.

According to the New Jersey Christmas Tree Grower's Association website, theres multiple farms that offer cut-your-own, or fresh-cut trees sold by the farms themselves, in the Hopatcong and Sparta area during the 2017 holiday season:
