Delivering More Than Music: Band Brings Treats to Fans
Goodbye Friday drops off ice cream and tickets to fans on Friday.

Hopatcong band Goodbye Friday has played alongside superstars. But the band made a different type of collaboration on Monday.
Band members Rocco Costanza, Aaron Henriquez and Mark Braun delivered treats with borough ice cream man John Cerra. Fans were encouraged to write their street names on the band's Facebook wall. In turn, the band delivered them desserts and tickets.
When asked about the adventure, Braun took a chance to reflect. “I’m amazed at all the things being in a band lets me do,” he said.

The band quickly noticed that they were only traveling at a speed of about 10 miles per hour. While behind the wheel of the truck, the ice cream man said, “People on Facebook were saying I was going too fast.”
He also said that the Spongebob Popsicle is a hit among Hopatcong’s youth. Despite this fact, Henriquez and Braun enjoyed ice cream cookie sandwiches while Costanza munched on a Slim Jim.

As familiar tunes such as “Happy Birthday” and “Mary Had A Little Lamb” rang from the truck, the members of Goodbye Friday greeted their fans and even offered up a few high-fives.
With this mini-journey through town, Goodbye Friday’s ice cream truck appearance proved that you could have your ice cream and eat it, too, while getting a visit from some of Hopatcong’s most popular bands.
The band will perform at the Hopatcong Warriors Memorial Day fourth- through eight-grade dance on May 29.
