SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — An emu has been found on the loose in Sussex County, according to a local animal shelter.
On Saturday, the Hopatcong Animal Shelter posted on social media that an emu was spotted in Byram off Waterloo Road.
The animal shelter posted photos of the flightless bird in a wooded area.
