Families Invited to Participate in Roxbury Family Fun Day
A one day event for families with 5-15-year olds

SUCCASUNNA, NJ– October 1, 2017 – If your kids like robots, making slime, shooting arrows, and playing games, you sure don't want to miss the Family Fun Day at Roxbury's Horseshoe Lake Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 14. All families from Roxbury and surrounding areas are welcome to attend the event happening from 10am- 2pm. The event is free of charge and sponsored by the local Girl Scout and Boy Scout programs.
Activities will include archery, STEM programs, camping demonstrations, games, backyard bass fishing, Morris County Mosquito Safety demonstrations, Morris County Sherriff’s Office Crime Stopper Division, and the U.S. Army bomb robots of Picatinny Arsenal. Programs are open to the entire family and participants do not need to be members of the Scouts. Activities are free, and some activities are designed for take home projects.
This program is produced under the leadership of the local Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs. Space is not limited, however, participants are encouraged to register prior to October 14th. Walk-ins are welcome as well.
