Free Community Health & Wellness Fair at Project Self-Sufficiency

A free Community Health & Wellness Fair will be hosted by Project Self-Sufficiency on Friday, September 30th, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. The event will feature screenings by community health organizations, interactive educational exhibits, and up-to-date information about blood pressure, anxiety, depression, body/mass index, nutrition, diabetes, and vaccines. The free Community Health & Wellness Fair will take place at Project Self-Sufficiency’s Community Education Center, located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.

Representatives from local community health organizations have been invited, including 5PMinus Society; American Cancer Society; Atlantic Behavioral Health; Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services; Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America; Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Intervention Services, Inc. (DASI); Delta Dental; Free Clinic Newton; Lupus Foundation of America; March of Dimes; Mobile Phlebotomy; Mom’s Quit Connection; National Alliance on Mental Illness; Neighborhood Health Center; Newton Medical Center Community Health; NJ CEED; New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome; New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired; New Jersey Sharing Network; Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey; Planned Parenthood; Project Sussex Kids; Ronetco Supermarkets; Special Child Health Services; St. Clare’s Intensive Family Support Services; Sussex County Office of Public Health Nursing; Sussex Warren Chronic Disease Coalition; Total Hearing Care; Walgreens; Zufall Health Center; and others.
