Fundraiser Set Up For Boy Who Almost Drowned In Lake Hopatcong
He might be home from the hospital, but 7-year-old Nicholas still has a way to go before he's fully recovered.

HOPATCONG, NJ — After nearly drowning in Lake Hopatcong July Fourth weekend, seven-year-old Nicholas T. still has a way to go before he's fully recovered, and a GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for medical expenses.
Nicholas was at the lake with his mother when he went missing on July 3. He was rescued from the bottom of the lake by the Hopatcong Fire Department, and flown to Morristown Medical Center. After being in a medically induced coma for four days, he was awake and talking by July 9, and home by July 11.
Now, Nicholas will need physical therapy to make a full recovery, according to a GoFundMe page. The organizer is hoping to raise $20,000 for his recovery fund.
