Girls Basketball: Hopatcong Can't Catch Up to Boonton

Hopatcong's girls basketball team stumbled to a 56-34 loss to Boonton at home on Monday night.

Kristen Toropiw scored a team-best 10 points as the Chiefs kept it close in the first quarter before heading into halftime down, 22-14.

Heather Yaros had seven points for Hopatcong. Nicole Jaronsky put up two three-pointers and scored nine points for the Chiefs, who were outscored 22-10 in the fourth quarter.
