Homeless Veterans Donation Drive Newton Walmart Friday Dec 1

Boyscout Drive for Homeless Veterans at Newton Walmart Today December 1st

Collection drive underway for homeless vets
Boy Scout Troop 2010 of Hardwick will be collecting new items for local homeless vets at Walmart in Newton, 2-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, and at the 40th annual Hope Christmas Craft Market, Dec. 2-3, at Hope Elementary School.
The drive is the project of Eagle Scout candidate Anthony Cogliano, who will assemble kits for homeless veterans transitioning from shelters to their own apartments or homes. These kits will contain items needed to start a new home.
New items being collected include sheets, blankets, shower curtains, household cleaning supplies, dishes, pots and pans, flatware, glasses, pillows, towels, laundry baskets, personal items
