Goodbye Friday lands big gig; also to play alongside a Jonas brother.

The following press release, which has been edited for clarity, is from Hopatcong band Goodbye Friday.

Goodbye Friday, a pop/rock band from Hopatcong, has recently completed a few videos and most of the music for an entire album.

One of their videos with the fitting title “Scream For Me Baby” has been playing in all Tilly’s locations throughout the U.S. This particular video also won an award at the Garden State Film Festival on March 25.

Goodbye Friday is scheduled to perform on stage in front of a projected crowd of more than 40,000 at the Liberty State Park concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts on June 23. It is likely that 20,000 Girl Scouts will be in attendance.

They will also be headlining at the NJ Meadowlands 2012 State Fair in July.

They have been very busy so far in 2012 and are presently in the Barber Shop studios working with Earl Cohen on a hit single called "Hollywood Baby.”

This new song is described by the band as "the most incredibly radio friendly song" that it has ever produced. Goodbye Friday is gearing up to pursue interest from record labels, so we should be hearing more great materials from these handsome young talented performers in the near future.

The band has several performances scheduled from this coming weekend throughout this summer, including performances with Ryan Cabrera, Joe Jonas and other familiar names. Friday’s show will be at the Lenape Valley High School in Stanhope.

A full schedule of their shows can be found on Goodbye Friday's website.
