Hopatcong Parties Like It’s 1776 At America 250 Bash
Live music, classic cars, food trucks and family activities will fill Modick Park Saturday.
HOPATCONG, NJ — Hopatcong is turning back the clock and turning up the music with an America 250 celebration Saturday at Modick Park.
The gathering runs from 3 to 9 p.m. at 28 Hopatchung Road, pairing entertainment with food trucks, vendors, a beer garden and family activities.
A custom car show rolls in from 3 to 5 p.m. House of Guenther takes the stage from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by Who’s Johnny from 6 to 9 p.m.

Organizers described the event as “an afternoon and evening of live music, great food, family-friendly activities and community pride” honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Residents can bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for the evening. Before heading over, visitors may want to check with Hopatcong Recreation for any weather-related changes.
