Hopatcong, Sparta, NJ Primary Election Results
In a primary election impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, results may not be official on Tuesday due to mail-in voting.
SPARTA, NJ – Voting in the New Jersey primary election has ended after polls closed at 8 p.m. in an already-delayed election in which voting took place by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the nature of the historic election, results are not expected Tuesday night.
Locally, Republicans Richard Schindelar and John Young have filed on one ticket and are facing a ticket of Heather Fiore and Patricia DelDolce.
Democrat Mara Modes has filed to secure her party's nomination in an uncontested race.
