Enjoy Snacks, Build Connections and Meet Special Guest Speaker Tommy Hilcken

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton chapter of BNI Business Builders is pleased to invite you to a valuable networking opportunity! Connect with dozens of local business and organizations, meet new people and have fun!
As part of International Networking Week, a national BNI initiative, the networking event will raise the profile of networking across the community, highlighting its valuable role as a tool for success in today’s business world. The event is open to all members of the business community, members of other networking organizations or chambers, students, members of the press, and interested government officials. Special guest speaker Tommy Hilcken, a life success consultant and international speaker, will bring an exciting and comedic perspective to common challenges in today’s workplace. The event will allow attendees to connect and network with others, listen to guest speakers, and present an opportunity to continue to develop networking relationships through BNI.
The Newton chapter of BNI Business Builders is a small part of the national organization of professionals working to harness the power of networking and referrals. BNI members know that “Givers gain,” and members focus not only on giving business back to other BNI partners, but to the community as a whole. Each chapter of the national organization provides regular opportunities for networking and project collaboration, bringing individual and community opportunities. The Newton chapter offers highly recommended referrals for trusted professionals in law, real estate, bookkeeping, nutrition, contracting, finance, graphic design, photography, landscaping, and other industries. BNI is a highly selective and dedicated program that requires commitment and effort from its members.

In addition to providing valuable business networking opportunities throughout the nation, BNI is a strong member of the community, participating regularly in social causes and fundraisers to benefit them. Last year, Newton’s BNI participated in a fundraiser to benefit breast cancer research, wearing pink to draw attention to the cause and donating much needed funds to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation.
The event will be held at Spring Street Grill, at 144 Spring Street in Newton. The event will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3. The $20 registration fee includes passed appetizers, a pasta station, a meatball station, and access to the cash bar. While the BNI coordinators appreciate advanced registration, walk-ins are welcome!
