Latest Farmers Market Addition? Alpacas!

No, you won't be able to ride them.

The borough released a while back of vendors planning to participate in Hopatcong's farmers market Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June 17 to Sept. 30 in the parking lot.

The latest—and maybe coolest—addition? Alpacas, according to Councilman Mike Francis.

Francis said at Wednesday's board of health meeting that the animals, which look like small llamas, "will probably be staked" to the ground.
