Local Doctor Becomes President of Osteopathic Medical Association
Sparta resident Dr. Bollard has stepped down as president of Premier Health Associates to become the 119th president of NJAOPS.

SPARTA, NJ - Dr. David Bollard of Sparta has stepped down as president of Premier Health Associates to become the 119th President of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (NJAOPS). NJAOPS is one of the most active medical associations in the state, representing more than 4,700 physicians, residents, and students of osteopathic medicine.
Dr. Bollard has served as president of Premier Health Associates and previously as president of Sparta Medical Associates for a combined 25 years, making his retirement significant to the North Jersey medical community.
“The biggest reward by far was the trust that all of the Premier Health Associates physicians placed in me,” Dr. Bollard remarked on his presidency at Premier Health Associates.

During his 12 month term as NJAOPS president, Dr. Bollard plans to focus on advocacy for medical professionals at the legislative level, as well as finding new ways to get medical students and residents involved in the organization.
“The transition from Premier Health Associates to NJAOPS has been rather smooth. I would say my experience at Premier Health Associates helped that,” Dr. Bollard said.

Dr. Meg Kozak has taken over as president of Premier Health Associates, marking a new chapter for the organization. Dr. Kozak will serve as the first female president in the company’s history.
