NJ Man Is Knocked Out, Cracks Head On Pavement, Charges Filed: Police
A fight ended with a man being knocked unconscious, police say.
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — Charges have been filed in connection with a fight that injured a man in Sussex County earlier this summer.
On June 1, police were called to a property on Main Street in Franklin Borough on reports of a fight.
Officers learned that Robert Terzano, 34, of Franklin, had gotten into a dispute with another man at the property, police say.

Terzano punched the other man in the face, knocking him unconscious, police say. The victim collapsed and hit his head on the pavement, "resulting in head trauma," according to officials.
Police said Terzano initially ran away after striking the man, but eventually turned himself into Franklin Borough Police custody without incident.

Terzano is now charged with third-degree aggravated assault. He was released to await an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.
