Teen Dies After Falling From NJ Hotel Window In Newton: Police

A teen died afer falling from a New Jersey hotel window this weekend, police said.

The 19-year-old Byram Township woman died after falling from the Newton hotel at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, police said. The New Jersey Record identified the woman as Lindsey Wright.

Officers responded to the 144 Spring St. site of the old Waldmere Hotel on a report of a woman who had fallen approximately 30 feet from a window.

The woman was transported to the Newton Medical Center by emergency responders, police said.

She later died as a result of injuries from the fall, police said.

The incident is under investigation, police said.
