Obituary: Phillip Peter Guenther of Hopatcong lost his lifelong battle with Muscular Dystrophy on Thursday June 21, 2012 at home surrounded by family and friends. He was 31. Born in Boonton, he lived in Parsippany before moving to Hopatcong 27 years ago. He was a student who worked on line from home. Phillip enjoyed music, writing music, electronics, computers and being around family and friends. He also enjoyed speaking at support meetings. Cherished son of Warren T. and Debra J. (nee: Gunza) Guenther. Beloved brother of Sara Jayne Guenther. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and caretakers.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made directly to the family to offset funeral expenses.
