Chiefs jump ahead, 3-1, in first half, never look back.
Senior Ryan Sheridan, junior Dylan See and freshman Marcello Pizzaro each scored to give Hopatcong a 3-1 first-half lead in Tuesday's 4-1 home win over Butler.
"The boys played real well today and were able to score at will, but we still need to work on a few things," head coach Brian Carr said.
Hopatcong improved to 1-1 after Saturday's season-opening loss to Kinnelon. Sheridan also scored on a second-half penalty kick to put things away.
