Probe Launched After Cat Killed By Arrow In NJ: Police

Police say they are probing how a cat was killed by an arrow in New Jersey this past week.

State Police say the cat was found about a week ago in the area of the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Knowlton.

A resident discovered the cat in her garden, police said. The arrow penetrated the animal's hip and leg.

Police say a woman who lives nearby had been feeding the cat, but the animal stopped showing up on her property about a week ago.
