Saint Jude Church Starts Hopatcong's Holiday Craft & Vendor Shows
Three great 2018 Holiday Craft and Vendor Shows in Hopatcong - The First Took Place on Saturday Nov 10th
Saint Jude RC Church was the first of 3 large craft and vendor shows in Hopatcong. The church welcomed their parish community area’s small cottage business vendors and crafters on Saturday November 10th. There were many handmade items being sold by the crafters themselves with great pride.
Bringing warmth and a smile to gift giving was the whimsical holiday designs created from yarn by Hopatcong crafters - Twisted Hand Made Creations and Crocheted with Love by Robin.
This show had wood carved creations too. Kimberley Urech of KayoU Design boasted on her sign “Girlz Build”. She said that she did the complete process of her woodwork from sawing raw tree lumber to adding the finishing stain to her designs. James Bartholomew of Rustic woodworking had his handsome etched picture scene woodwork designs of clocks, plaques and small tables.

The show included painted artwork on canvas. Gayle R Devoe of Daydream Creations combines words of wisdom to her painted pictures on small canvases for gift givers who want to give philosophical and inspiring small décor gifts to hang up.
For those who were hungry from shopping, St Jude opened their snack bar kitchen with great coffee and jumbo muffins and scones baked and served by Joe from Hopatcong’s Diner. Joe said he was ready to take any pie baking order for your Thanksgiving table. Just drop by the diner and place your pie order.
