Sparta Employees Off The Hook For Alleged Generator Use
Investigation reveals no wrongdoing after workers allegedly used town equipment after Super Storm Sandy.

No Sparta Township employees will be punished after the governing body’s investigation into alleged wrongdoing found no substantial evidence, according to a news report.
Sparta Mayor Gil Gibbs addressed his governing body and the public Tuesday night after allegations were brought forth regarding township employees using generators for their homes in the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy, njherald.com reported.
While no wrongdoing was found, the council said it would review and amend town policies regarding equipment use by town employees going forward, the report said.
