Sparta High School Cancels Final Exams

The change was brought about by the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic, officials said.

SPARTA, NJ - The latest alteration to the lives of Sparta High School students due to the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic is the cancellation of final exams.

According to officials, the exams will be replaced by work already completed. For this year, the final exam will be replaced by changing the percentage value for each marking period to 25 percent of the final grade for a full year course.

For the second semester half year course, each marking period will make up 50 percent of the final grade.
