Sparta Resident Dr. Joseph Giuliano to be Honored at HTCNJ Gala

Joseph G. Giuliano, DDS, who resides in Sparta, will be honored on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Healing the Children® New Jersey's 33rd Annual Gala & Awards Ceremony.  The event will be held at Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  1450 Talk Radio WCTC’s on-air personality Bert Baron will serve as Emcee.

Healing the Children® New Jersey was founded in 1981 and provides access to medical care and related services for children in need in New Jersey and worldwide.  Dr. Giuliano will be presented with The Sergio Award, traditionally conferred upon a volunteer whose dedication, time and compassion has helped to change the lives of children in need.

In its International Inbound program, HTCNJ welcomes children from countries worldwide who travel to New Jersey to receive medical and surgical care.  Dr. Giuliano invites these children – most of whom have never before seen a dentist – to his practice.  He has provided hundreds of impoverished children with pro bono dental examinations and treatment that they would not otherwise receive. HTCNJ Executive Director Pamela DePompo stated, "Dr. Giuliano is an invaluable partner who is beloved by the children he treats and their volunteer host families.  We all admire his dedication to needy children.”
