Sparta Retailer to Host Shopping Event to Benefit Project Self-Sufficiency

Talbot's will donate 10% of proceeds from merchandise sold on November 16th to Project Self-Sufficiency.

Sparta retailer Talbot’s will donate 10% of proceeds from sales made on Wednesday, November 16th to local non-profit organization Project Self-Sufficiency. The initiative is part of the “Share the Fun and Make a Difference” campaign orchestrated by the retailer. Project Self-Sufficiency is a local non-profit organization which serves individuals and families in the New Jersey counties of Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon.

“We are delighted to have been chosen to receive a donation from merchandise sales at Talbot’s,” remarked Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency. “Project Self-Sufficiency has relied on support from the community to help fund programs and services for low-income families since its inception 30 years ago. Neighbors truly can make a difference when they take the time to reach out to each other.”

A portion of proceeds from sales made between 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th will be donated to Project Self-Sufficiency. Light refreshments will be served. Talbot’s is located at 25 Sparta Avenue, Sparta. Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP to Deborah Berry-Toon at dberry-toon@projectselfsufficiency.org.
