Sparta Township: 2021 Fire Hydrant Flushing Program

The Water Utility will be conducting hydrant flushing starting the week of October 18, 2021 in the Lake Mohawk, Highlands and Sunset Lake water systems. Flushing will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. We anticipate completing the program in four (4) weeks. Flushing should not disrupt service but sporadic water discoloration may occur and we caution you to watch your laundry water while the program is in effect.
