All repairs start at $80, and first-time callers will receive 10% off their first service charge price! Stark Appliances repairs and services all sorts of household appliances, including refrigerators, ranges, washers & dryers, microwaves, dishwashers, and more! The technicians are LG and Maytag appliance specialists, but can handle almost any appliance that comes their way. Unlike many major appliance repair companies, Stark Appliance has no minimum hourly labor cost—you pay a flat fee, discussed up front, for your repairs. Best of all, all work is done on premises so you don’t have to take your appliances out of your home.

Stark Appliance opened in 1955, a family business owned by Richard and Margaret Stark. Soon, the business decided to include Richard’s brother, Howard. By the mid 1970s, Stark Appliances was a cornerstone of the community, providing services and sales of new and reconditioned appliances. The business opened next to Yetter’s Diner, and Richard’s son, Don, came on board. In 1981, Don’s wife Bev joined the team, making up the Stark Appliance team that most people in the area are familiar with. In the 90s, the Starks decided to close the sales portion of the business to focus on high-quality service.

Don and Bev Stark have left the area to pursue missionary work, and Stark Appliances was sold to long time family friends, Michael and Jenna Casserly, another Sussex County Family. The Casserly’s want the loyal Stark customers to know that they will be providing the same great service as the Starks did for so many years, continuing this Sussex County legacy! All policies, pricing, and practices will remain the same.
