Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 8, 2021, by Ashley Mizzer.

Mizzer, age 32 of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for January 7, 2022.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin on July 3, 2021, in Hopatcong.
