Sussex Scout Sets Fast Pace

For the second year in a row, Hunter Baker represented Pack 153 (Church of the Good Shepherd, Sussex) at the NYC World Championship Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby in Times Square. On June 24, 2017, before over 2,000 enthusiastic race fans, Hunter and nearly 300 fellow Scouts from 26 states, competed in two divisions, Stock Car and Pro Stock, racing with Scouts of the same rank. Hunter finished 1st place in the Stock Car Division Bears Semi-Finals in Race 2, 4th place in the Stock Car Division Bears Finals, and 14th place overall in Stock Car Division All-Ages.
